The Messiah women's track and field team opened the 2021-22 season on Saturday with a short trip to Dickinson for the DuCharme Invitational. The Falcons earned a second-place finish in the event, finishing the day with a pair of first-place finishes. Katelyn Bernotas won the mile with a time of 5:24.16 and Kate Prothero led three Falcons in the top-three positions in the 3,000 Meter with a time of 11:32.40. In total the Falcons nabbed a dozen first-place finishes with five second places and five third places as well as the two victories.
